Every Handloom Saree Tells a Story. Learn what makes them beautifully unique.
The Beauty of Handloom Sarees
No Two Handloom Sarees are ever alike! Each saree is handwoven by skilled artisans, not mass-produced by machines. Because of this, natural weaving marks occur, which are signs of authenticity (not defects).
What Is Not a Defect (Normal Marks)
Warp And weft
✔️ Weft / Thari Marks
Thin straight lines created by wooden beams of the loom. They blend naturally into the saree.
Thread Knots
✔️ Slubs
Small bumps due to handspun yarn thickness.
Color gradient
✔️ Color Shading
Slight variations in dye that give depth and authenticity.
Jari Motifs
✔️ Irregular Motifs
Minor variations in zari placement prove it’s handcrafted.
What Is a Defect (Eligible for Exchange)
❌ Large holes or fabric tears
❌ Broken zari across multiple areas
❌ Heavy stains before purchase
❌ Weaving errors that affect the drape

Why We Don’t Accept Exchanges for Normal Marks
We believe imperfections are part of the saree’s story. These marks celebrate the artistry of weaving and make each piece one-of-a-kind.
